Food is excellent! Best Chinese in Slidell hands down, would definitely recommend. To go orders are always on time and quick.
Very nice customer service! Homemade pork and shrimp egg rolls were top notch! Serving sizes were abundant! The shrimp in the Shrimp and Lobster were large and delicious. The fried chicken in the Boneless Chicken and Vegetables was crispy on the top but mushy on the bottom, which is pretty typical as it sits atop the sauce. However, the negatives were overall blandness and thick, gooey sauce (likely because of too much corn starch). The fried rice was unimpressive. It had small shrimp and soy sauce but not much else but it was well cooked; just very bland. The vegetables were overcooked and mushy in a sauce that reminded one of snot bc of its consistency, which made ya not want to eat it! I gave them 4 stars because I think they can be a 4 star with some minor attention and they are not as bad to be a 3 star. Again, very friendly and nice, and reasonably priced with good sized portions! But the blandness and thick sauces have to be corrected.
This is spot on, exactly what I was in hunger for. They have daily specials and a lot of menu options. The food is good and made to order. I had the sweet and sour chicken with a large house rice w/ two egg rolls and my wife and kids had the steak and broccoli and the shrimp and broccoli and all entrees was really good. The PORTIONS ARE ENOUGH TO SPLIT. I would recommend going with an additional order of combo/house rice or adding a meat to your lo mien...because the rice and noodles that comes with the daily special is real bland.
